Last night myself and another comrade were staying with a couple I know. We started talking about the RCP and Marxist ideas in general. They confessed to being quite out of the loop with current world events so we opened up a copy of Communist Revolution and began reading various articles aloud to the group. Our hosts were enthralled by the ideas. This morning I awoke to find one of them sitting on the porch reading a copy of In Defense of Marxism and ready to keep talking about our work and the ideas of Marx. There are so many ways to connect with people, I encourage comrades to try the reading-aloud method with people who aren’t initially inclined to read.
